What's your response to the view that marketing = an open chequebook?
If you go to the wrong company that may be the case, but I set up Business Fulcrum to make sure marketing services were accessible. Every project is quoted for, there are no hidden surprises and I try to make sure that the things I do for you have multiple application so you are not continually spending out. The main thing is to get you marketing consistently and continually and believe me I know how difficult that can be...
How do I know if YOUR marketing advice will work?
The short answer is all about me! I am self employed and market myself in the same way that I advise you. So, having set up in 2003 I have worked with hundreds of companies; I have some great testimonials and recommendations on LinkedIN; I regularly deliver marketing workshops and am often asked to do presentations on request. In other words people know what I do and buy my services. I believe I can do the same for you...
Surely you have to have expertise in my sector to know how to market me?
Well marketing is marketing and at one time I revelled in the glorious line that I was working with everyone from a sex therapist to a private investigator! But the other thing is that my personal experience, insight and approach allow me to comprehend different businesses very quickly. I believe this comes over very clearly in the free marketing healthcheck - so why not get in touch and take advantage?
OK sounds good so far - how far will you travel to offer your consultancy?
Well for things like copywriting and postcards there is no geographic restriction, using my own tried and tested client process I can easily work for you using Skype and e-mail.
I like to keep my costs accessible for small companies so in order to keep petrol costs down I now offer the Free Marketing Healthcheck to potential clients in three ways:
- You pop to meet me near Basingstoke
- We chat over Skype
- I come to you and charge mileage
Most of my clients are within an hour's drive of my base in North Hampshire and there is no mileage charge for them.
